| Swallowing | A swallow attempt can be made by holding down the Devour keybind (default: 'R') and attacking a mob (the mob will not be damaged by this). The chance of successfully swallowing depends on the prey's size and current health threshold. Smaller prey will almost always be swallowed successfuly while ones around player size and up will likely need some damage done to them before being able to successfully swallow them. For this mechanics test, a value will be displayed in your action bar showing the % chance of the swallow succeeding. Once a devour attempt is successful, you'll begin swallowing the mob. The speed at which you swallow depends on how far up your head is tilted, and you'll need to be looking at least 20 degrees upward to progress swallowing. You can also swallow items in your inventory by right clicking with them while holding the devour keybind. | Digestion | Once a mob is fully swallowed, they'll begin digesting. This is fully dependent on their max HP, so damaging them beforehand will not make them digest quicker. You can check the current digestion progress of each prey in your gut by pressing the Stomach Inventory keybind (default: 'X'). From this screen you can left click individual prey to select them and then press the release button to spit them up! This screen will also let you click between the tabs at the top to check the items in your stomach and the current queue of nutrients being processed in your intestines. | Struggling and Escape | Once a mob is fully swallowed, they'll begin to struggle. Mob struggles are based off of their attack strength and will incriment your Overwhelmed value. Mobs begin having a chance to escape when Overwhelmed hits 50, and the chance scales linearly up to 100. At 100 Overwhelmed, escape chances are automatically quintupled (x5). A prey being spat up by you will automatically also cause you to spit up a mob you were swallowing (if you were swallowing one). Sneaking will automatically decrease the overwhelmed you gain by 20%, making it a great way to manage your prey when needed! | Absorption | Once a mob is fully digested, they'll collapse into nutrients, instantly freeing up stomach capacity equal to half of their prey size. Your intestines will only work on absorbing the first item in its queue, meaning you can stack up multiple instances of nutrients to last longer. While you are absorbing nutrients (as long as they arent Rotten nutrients (from Zombies)), you'll gain a hidden effect called 'Well Fed', which will prevent all natural sources of hunger loss, aside from Natural Health Regeneration. When absorbing a unit of nutrients, you'll restore 1 hunger (or 1 saturation if hunger was full). | Belching | When one of your prey struggles, you eat a food item, or you are attacked while full, you'll build up a value called your Belch Cap. This can go all the way up to 60. If you have some belch cap, you can hold the Belch keybind (default: 'B') to charge up a belch! When releasing a belch, you'll decrease some of your overwhelmed meter and burp up some of the items in your stomach inventory! There are 3 levels of belch that can be charged up to. For 8 belch cap, you can decrease your Overwhelmed ny 5 and belch up 2 items from your stomach inventory. For 20 belch cap, you can decrease your Overwhelmed by 15 and belch up 8 items. Finally, for 60 belch cap, you can decrease your Overwhelmed by 52 and belch up 20 items. Releasing a max level belch will also inflict slowness on mobs that are targeting you within a 5 block radius. | PCraft Compatability | Carbonized Water will build up 1 belch cap per second for 1:30 Neutralizing Water will disable your ability to digest for 3:30 Fermented Glowberry Juice will grant you the 'Drunk' effect for 1:00. If you already had the drunk effect, it will go up a level of potency and increase its duration by 30 seconds (up to Drunk III for 2:30). Each level of this effect decreases your overwhelmed gain by 10%, but increases prey escape chances by 15%. For bug prevention purposes, PCraft mobs that are currently full are unable to be swallowed.
