15. [Battle] strategy tips:

This section will give you general advice for the average random battle.

	A. Monster girl battles

		i. General advice:

			a. There are two ways to damage monsters: by stunning shapes spawned by the monster and clicking the crystal that forms, and through casting spells. Theoretically, one could defeat a monster without even clicking oyons or dealing with the oyon grid by solely defeating shapes. However, this would take longer than necessary and would also make things more difficult for the player.

			b. Buy and equip combo spells so that when you create combos, you can get the benefits of those spells.

			c. Destroy shapes that chase or target the cursor aggressively or that you have trouble dodging before trying to match oyons. See the shape battles section below on which shapes to prioritize for killing.

			d. Match oyons near the bottom of the grid to create a cascade of oyon matching. This can give you a lot of combos and mana for little effort. Granted, if gravity changes, change the side of the screen you start matching (e.g. if gravity switches to up, start matching at the top of the screen instead).

			e. Fight shapes with high HP (like Zombie Heads, Giraffes, and Centipedes) during long cascading combos. This will give you time to whittle their health down without the risk of losing your combo.

			f. Keep an eye on the mana available for casting. When the colored circle around the spell fills up, you have reached max mana, so start spending it.

			g. You will take increased damage from shapes the fewer heart shells you have. Heart shells decrease in power as follows: magenta > cyan > pink > yellow > green > blue > red > white.

		ii. Combos

			a. Combos will be refreshed from wherever the combo was used. If a combo spell is used at 56, combo spell at the 10 slot will appear again at a combo of 66, the combo spell at the 20 slot will appear at a combo of 76, and so on.

			b. Creating a combo of 50 will guarantee an item drop from monsters, and a combo of 100 will guarantee another item drop.

			c. The relic "Chain link" can help a lot in getting high combos quickly.

			d. Casting spells, clicking a stunned shape, and smashing mushrooms refills the combo meter, giving you more time for the next combo. This can be used to prolong a combo when the grid is being reloaded.

			e. Clicking oyons refills the combo meter a bit, so getting an oyon swap ready by clicking oyons gives you a bit more time before the combo is reset.

			f. Only one combo spell can be cast at a time, determined by your current combo when the combo runs out. Look to the left and bottom of the oyon grid to see your combo and the spell that will be cast when the combo ends. If you want a specific combo spell cast during battle, pay attention to your combo number.

			g. Combo always rounds down. If your combo is between 50 and 60, (50 to 59) and your combo runs out, you will cast the combo spell equipped at your 50 slot.

		iii. Monster girl guide

			a. Jelly: Jellies are the easiest and lowest level enemy and can usually be taken out easily. They do not cast shapes, but they do shoot red waves at your heart that should be dodged. Otherwise, match oyons and cast damage spells and healing spells to defeat jellies easily.

			b. Goblin: Goblins are the 2nd easiest enemy and can usually be taken out easily. Watch out for the shark shapes that are fast and home onto the cursor. Otherwise, destroy shapes and cast damage spells to defeat goblins easily.

			b. Ghost: She will cast Haunt which will curse a few oyons on the board and deal some damage to you. More dangerous is her Hug spell, which deals damage over time. Be sure to keep healing as much as you can if she casts this. You can also switch characters to heal a bit. She'll usually cast Squeeze right after Hug to deal even more damage. As long as you keep healing and dealing damage to her, you should be fine.

			c. Fairy: Fairies can be challenging if you rely on green damaging spells. This is because fairies are resistant to any green spell that deals damage to them. Fairies can cast Thorns on themselves which will cause you to take damage when you cast damaging spells on them. If you see that they have the Thorns buff, wait until it wears off before casting offensive spells. Fairies will also cast Dizzy on you which will make your heart spin, making it very difficult to destroy shapes. Dodge shapes until it wears off. They will also heal themselves, prolonging the battle.

			d. Lamia: A fairly straightforward fight. She'll deal direct damage, buff herself and debuff you, and increase her own cast speed. Deal damage and heal with your spells and you should be fine.

			e. Zombie: Zombies have a lot of health and can regenerate health over time, which can make them difficult to kill. Luckily their regen only refills about 10-15% of their health, so continue dealing damage and you should be able to outpace her. They also poison the player character, causing damage over time, so either use a Purify spell if you have it or have healing spells. Zombies like to fill the screen with shapes by casting Crawlies, so make sure you don't get overwhelmed by them.

			f. Mud elemental: Mud elementals are fairly easy to defeat. They are resistant to damage from yellow spells, but otherwise any other spell works fine on them. Watch for their Fei Drain spell. When they cast that, they drain away the mana that you have stored up. If they are about to cast drain, cast all the spells you can, because after the mud elemental finishes casting, you will have much less mana with which to cast spells. Mud elementals will also cast Avalanche which will add a bunch of blocks to the board.

			g. Slime Nurse: Slime nurses aren't too bad, but sometimes frustrating. They will cast Fei Alteration which will switch up the oyon colors until it's cast again. She'll also throw cute but deadly blobcats at your heart. They can be difficult to dodge, so when it's jumping around, focus on dodging it instead of the oyon board. She'll also deal direct damage with Unheal.

			h. Imp: Imps like to buff itself and deal high damage using that buff. They'll also throw magma blobs at your heart, so focus on dodging those when they throw those. Otherwise a pretty typical fight. Keep your health up with healing spells and continue to deal damage to them to win.

			i. Gravitar: Fairly basic fight. She will use Anti-grav which removes gravity from the board to prevent you from making a lot of cascade combos. She will also cast Entropic Pull which will swap gravity multiple times in different directions and then rain down spike balls on you to dodge with your heart. Note that as gravity switches when the spike balls are falling, they will follow gravity as well. Otherwise, she's not too bad.

			j. Kobold: She will cast Trip and make plates fly across the screen. Be sure to dodge them with your heart. Note that plates are affected by gravity. She will also cast Help to make a lot of shapes appear at once. Otherwise a fairly simple fight.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

16. [Boss] battle strategy tips:
This section is for those having trouble with fights and sequences in the game. I'll only list required fights here.

	A. Jelly: Your first fight of the game. Fairly easy since you come equipped with Fire and Aquadrill.
		i. It is recommended you find/buy a Heal or Patch up for this fight as you will be taking damage.

ii. Equip a trinket to boost your stats. Bug visor is a solid choice for this point in the game, which can be bought from the store or found in a chest.

iii. Avoid the red shapes she spawns, otherwise just focus on matching oyons and dealing damage.

iv. Match oyons and cast spells when you can to deal damage and heal. She doesn't throw very much at you and she'll become a regular random battle once you get to the basement level of Sablee Ocean.

	B. Captain Klehss: It is recommended that before you fight Klehss you equip healing as one of your spells and have at least patch up in your bottom combo slot, if not an offensive combo spell. Keep your health up and damage her with your spells during the fight. Be wary of her Stab move (see below). When she's at about half health, she will cast Pissed Off! which let's her shoot out tentacles at your heart once every 3-5 seconds for the rest of the battle. Stay focused and continue matching oyons while also watching for the tentacles. When she's pissed off, she will no longer cast Stab.
		i. Recommended level: 4.
ii. Drops: Pearl, Spiked Pauldron, Basic soul
iii. Colors available: Green, Pink, Cyan, Blue
		iv. Spells:
			a. Ink Spit will spray ink onto a section of the screen. Use your heart to wipe the screen clean.
			b. Stab: She will shoot out two tentacles targets your heart. When she does this, ignore the oyon board and focus on dodging. A red line will flash out from the tentacle when it's about to strike. She can cast this multiple times in quick succession, so be careful! It's best to move slowly in a large circle to avoid all the tentacles.
			c. Mega Punch: It will deal a large amount of direct damage to you which cannot be avoided.
			d. Pissed Off!
		v. Shapes: Since she's not a mad witch, Klehss won't summon shapes.

	C. T: For this battle, it's recommended to have two offensive spells and one healing spell of the colors available. If you haven't explored much, the only applicable healing spell you'll likely have access to is Patch up, which is cyan. If you'd like an alternate spell, go to C2 and get the green colored Heal spell there. (See Auria Tower section above.) T can be challenging if you don't pay attention to her Voltaic shots. Otherwise, use offensive spells and healing spells while matching oyons and you should be fine.
		i. Recommended level: 5
ii. Colors available: Red, Pink, Cyan, Green
iii. Drops: Runic battery, Flat geta, Basic soul
		iv. Moves:
			a. Zap: Deals direct unavoidable damage.
			b. Volteic: Shoots a ball of energy from her side of the screen targeting your heart. When it hits the opposite wall, it explodes into smaller electrical balls. Pay attention when she shoots it to avoid the large and smaller balls.
			c. Static Charge: a buff that lets T cast two energy balls with Volteic.
			d. Static Drain: Heals T for a moderate amount, drains your Cyan fei, so use up all your cyan fei if you have any.
		v. Shapes: Since she's not a mad witch, T won't summon shapes.

	D. Goblin: Your first fight against a mad witch. Fairly easy. After this fight goblins will be a regular enemy encountered in the forest. Since this is the first mad witch you'll be fighting, you have to balance matching oyons and dealing with shapes on the field. Deal damage by destroying shapes and casting spells, and heal using spells.

	E. Kitsune: Kitsune will make you dizzy (which makes your heart spin), create a lot of shapes at once, and cast a crazy fire spell called Foxfire that is difficult to dodge. All these combined make this battle with her quite hectic. To defeat her, stay calm when she casts Foxfire and focus on dodging. When she makes you dizzy, focus on dodging shapes and matching oyons. Once you recover from being dizzy, kill all the shapes while your combo is high to deal a lot of damage to her.
		i. Recommended level: 10
ii. Colors available: Cyan, pink, yellow, green.
iii. Drops: Eternal flame, Dark brooch, Basic soul
		iv. Moves:
			a. Whisper: Debuff that lowers your attack and makes your heart spin, like the Dizzy spell. Don't try to kill shapes in this state.
			b. Great Curse: Converts 10-15 oyons into cursed oyons.
			c. Overcurse: Converts all cursed oyons into shapes. If your board has a lot of cursed oyons, you can easily be overwhelmed by the sheer number of shapes created by this spell. Especially if she casts a lot of beehives. Be sure to take care of as many shapes as you can before she casts whisper on you!
			d. Foxfire: Casts many many flames out from her spell circle. Ignor the oyon board and focus on dodging her fire. Stay as far away to the left as possible to give yourself time to react. Watch out for centipedes crawling in from the edges though!
			e. Scratch: Deals direct, unavoidable damage.
		v. Shapes: Feet, Centipedes, Beehives, Clouds.

	F. Cerelea: Cerelia isn't too tough, but watch out for giraffe shapes and her lightning strikes. The high level recommendation level is really because Biscotti Tunnels, the next area is quite difficult and the forest will be locked out after you defeat Cerelia.
		i. Recommended level: 14
ii. Colors available: Yellow, Pink, Green, Cyan
iii. Drops: Cow milk, Earthquake, Thunder horn, Basic soul
		iv. Spells:
			a. Earthquake: Deals direct damage and creates a lot of blocks on the oyon board.
			b. Wall Smasher: Destroys a vertical line of blocks and oyons and deals damage proportional to you directly depending on how many blocks were destroyed. Take out blocks yourself by matching oyons next to blocks to prevent damage to you. Stone chunks will also fly off of any broken blocks that will hit your heart.
			c. Thunderbolt: Lightning will strike down vertically aimed at your heart. Dodge left and right to not get hit.
			d. Flex: Buffs her attack and defense.
		v. Shapes: Giraffes, Bombs, Sea anemones

	G. Myasine: Battling Myasine is not too tough as long as you're the right level. She can do a lot of damage if she buffs herself multiple times. When she does this, either heal yourself or cast a debuff to cancel her buffs. She'll also spawn a lot of mushrooms on the board as the battle progresses, so make sure you click the mushrooms repeatedly to destroy them before they spread too far and overwhelm the board. You can use her mushroom spawning ability to clear the last few oyons on the board if you have good timing. She will also occasionally make your heart spin with her Achoo spell. When that happens, don't try to fight shapes. Her Elbow combo spell deals a ton of damage, so either be at a high level/rank to boost your stats, or keep your heal spells filled up. If you're still having trouble, buy Alum Sen from Noni's shop in Biscotti. This will convert Myasine's attack buffs from her Aaa... spell into debuffs. Otherwise, keep your combo high to deal good damage by destroying shapes, match oyons, and cast your spells to deal damage and heal.
		i. Recommended level: 17
ii. Colors available: Blue, red, yellow, cyan.
iii. Drops: Mushroom slice, Glowing mushroom, Basic soul
		iv. Spells:
			a. Aaa...: Buffs her attack. Can be stacked multiple times. This buff is permanent, but then is "used up" when she casts her next attack spell. This spell basically buffs only her next attack.
			b. Achoo: Deals direct damage to you, makes your heart spin, poisons you (dealing damage over time), and converts a few oyons to mushrooms.
			c. Sporonid: Spawns mushroom shapes and converts some oyons to mushrooms.
			d. Hide: Buffs her attack and defense.
			e. Elbow Combo: Hits you five times for direct damage. Quite powerful.
		v. Shapes: Shark, Mushroom, Big Mushroom, Bomb

	H. Nightmare: The final boss of the demo. Very difficult. Note that she is resistant to pink and cyan colored damage spells and immune to yellow spells. You'll want to keep your combo up and primarily destroy shapes for the first half of the fight. Once she is below half, spam all of your damaging spells at once since she'll cast Nightmare Realm and Eternal Sleep, which will instantly kill you if you don't kill her quick enough. See spells below for more details. She is immune to yellow spells, so don't use yellow damaging spells.
		i. Recommended level: 25
ii. Colors available: Pink, Cyan, Yellow, Red, Blue
iii. Color stats: Resistant to Cyan and Pink, Immune to yellow.
iii. Drops: Nightmare cloth, Expizion, Magizion, Basic soul
		iv. Spells:
			a. Night Bubble: Creates a black bubble that floats from the top down to the bottom of the screen. Deals damage to you if you touch it with your heart. When the bubble hits the bottom of the screen, it will deal a lot of damage, so shoot them to shatter them before they reach the bottom.
			b. Great Curse:	Curses a lot of oyons on the board.
			c. Flaunt: Lowers your defense, raises her attack, and heals her for 10-25% of her health.
			d. Dreamwave: Deals direct damage and changes the colors of a few oyons on the board.
			e. Teleport: Removes all cursed oyons from the board and drops cursed oyons on your heart from above. Dodge left and right to avoid the oyons.
			f. Nightmare Realm: She only casts this when she is at less than half health. Enables her to cast Eternal Sleep and any of her previous spells can be cast for free every few seconds. Once she starts casting nightmare realm, try to kill her as quickly as possible. Spam your damaging spells, keep your combo up above 100 and destroy shapes for huge damage. Cast hug.
			g. Eternal Sleep: Instantly deals max damage to you, putting you at -9999 health and in a moribund state. One more hit and you'll die. This basically puts a timer on you to finish the battle before the spell goes off. You can also switch to a different character to heal back up a little and leave the moribund state.
		v. Shapes: Shark, Lips, Sea Anemone, Big Mushroom, Centipedes, Zombie Heads

----------------------------------------------------------------

17. [Shape] battles

	A. General advice:
		i. At the beginning of shape battles, your heart will always have max heart shells (health). Heart shells decrease as follows: magenta > cyan > pink > yellow > green > blue > red > white. If you are hit while white, you will die and the character you were using will become unavailable until you get to a save point.

ii. Shapes are disposed of by stunning them with your heartpower, and then by left clicking on the crystal that forms when they're stunned. If you wait too long, the shape will reform and you'll have to stun them again.

iii. If you destroy 30 shapes, your heart will gain another shell level, letting you survive another hit.

iv. Shape battles typically have 3+ waves and will be more difficult and will be more difficult the later you go in the game.

		v. Use a combination of autofire (by holding spacebar) and charge shots to defeat enemies. Multiple small enemies can be taken out with a single charge shot if they are arranged correctly. Always charge a shot up while shapes are spawning if you get the chance.

vi. Shapes should be taken out in order of most dangerous to least dangerous:

			a. Sharks are fast and home onto the cursor and should be taken out first since they will never stop moving and hunting you down.

			b. Beehives and Giraffes should be targeted second. Beehives create a wall of bees that can hamper your mobility if they get a chance to charge up and shoot. Same concept for the giraffes. Since giraffes are so big, they'll take up huge swathes of the screen as they move.

			c. Turtles and Zombie Heads should be taken out third. They can be avoided if you move constantly, but can easily sneak up on you if you are distracted. Take out turtles over zombie heads since they have less HP.

			d. Flowers, Big mushrooms, and Mushrooms should be targeted next. They shoot out a lot of slow particles that stay on the screen for a long time that can easily be run into. Take these out before they shoot to reduce their influence on the battlefield.

			e. Lips should be taken out next. Lips shoot bomb shapes directly at your heart that explode after a delay, which can really limit where you can go. Though they are a source of constant chip damage if you stun and destroy the bombs.

			e. All the other shapes can be taken out as you see fit since they are either stationary, slow, don't target your heart directly, or easy to avoid.

	B. Heartpowers: There are six heartpowers that girls can have attached to their heart. See below for their description. Find the one you like using the best!

		i. Stars: Vuu comes equipped with this. Shoot stars wherever you aim. Very versatile since it has infinite range. Can charge up a large star to shoot.

ii. Fists: Punch left and right where you're aiming. Doesn't have much range, but is quite powerful.

iii. Mines: Leave mines all over the battlefield. Deal a lot of damage, but don't actively move. Great for shapes that move and track you, but bad for stationary ones. You can also click on an already placed mine to shoot it out from under you in the direction you're aiming. For this heartpower, the charge shot is immensely powerful. It shoots a bomb that targets the X that forms on the screen, causing a large explosion that hits shapes in the blast multiple times. It is advised to utilize charge shots to their fullest potential with the mines heartpower.

iv. Shell: Shells spawn and rotate around your heart. One of the heartpowers not affected by where you're pointing. Charge up a shot to release the shells rotating around you in an arc. Can be difficult to aim the charge shot. This heartpower is not affected by dizziness!

		v. Flyswatter: A fly shoots toward your heart from where you're aiming. At the same time, a flyswatter shoots toward your heart from the opposite side of the screen. When the fly and flyswatter hit each other, it causes an explosion that deals a lot of damage. Slower shot rate than the stars, but shoots from both sides of the screen, and the explosion deals a lot of damage. Charge up to have a spider hit the flyswatter instead of a fly. When the spider hits the swatter, it explodes into a bunch of tiny spiders that will deal damage to shapes.

vi. Yoyo: A yoyo that shoots out of your heart wherever you're aiming. Difficult to use. Does not have a charge shot. However, you can hold down the mouse to keep the yoyo out longer. One you shoot out the yoyo, you can move your heart to have it follow you around, hitting any shapes along the way. The string also does a small amount of damage to shapes when it hits them.

----------------------------------------------------------------

18. [Gimmick] Battles: There are a number of battles you must complete in order to progress the story that don't fit into the category of an oyon battle or a shape battle. They are listed below including strategies on how to beat them.

	1. Angel battle: This battle is in the great pyramid after defeating Klehss and attending the festival. It is similar to a shape battle in that your only defense is your Heartpower, but instead of fighting shapes, you'll be fighting an angel which is a more traditional bullet hell experience.

		A. General advice: Stay calm and pay attention to your cursor and projectiles. Try not to pay too much attention to where you're shooting, instead generally aiming at the head from afar. The less hits you take, the longer you'll survive. On the other hand, the quicker you deal damage, the less time you have to spend fighting the angel. Nevertheless, priorities should be first to not take damage, and second to deal damage.

		B. Phase 1: The angel has two phases. In the first phase, the angel is basically stationary with Vuu defending herself from attacks.
			i. Dealing damage: The angel is invincible to all damage initially. You must charge up your Heartpower and shoot the head with a charge shot. Note that the head outline goes from blue to red. When the head's outline is red, it can be shot with a bunch of regular shots before turning blue again. While the head is red, hold the spacebar and the mouse or rapidly click the mouse to hit the head with a lot of "damage." In the blue state, another charge shot will turn it red and vulnerable again. After taking enough "damage" to the head, the body section will become vulnerable, signified by its outline becoming red. At that point mash the mouse (or hold spacebar and hold down click) to deal as much damage as possible to the body while it is vulnerable. The body will become invincible (and the outline will turn blue) after a short time and you must repeat the process. If you're lucky, you'll only need to do this four times.
ii. Attacks: The angel has numerous attacks. I'll be making up names for them to better identify them here. The angel will occasionally spawn slimes that slide and jump on the ground. Shoot them to reduce the amount of stuff you have to dodge.
				a. Creeping flesh: a bony tendril creeps out of the angel's head tracking your heart segment by segment. The segments then become covered in flesh making them take up a significant area of the screen. Slowly move your heart in such a way that the flesh takes up as little space of the screen as possible. For example, stay near the top at first, then loop around under and to the left to have the flesh roughly fold over itself. Or stay near the bottom left, then loop around up and to the right. This move is pretty good for dealing damage since there aren't really any projectiles to pay attention to and you can just blast the head over and over while slowly moving away.
				b. Slime drop: The angel's head will hover directly over your heart and drop slime balls onto it that explode into smaller slime balls when they hit the floor. At the same time, other projectiles will arc out from the angel's body. Always keep moving to prevent the slime from hitting you, but also avoid the other projectiles from the body. Keep away from the floor, since the slime explodes into more projectiles when they hit the floor. You can do some damage to the head here since it will always be above your heart, but the density of projectiles makes it difficult for this move.
				c. Flower rain: The head will move to the top right of the screen and the angel's neck will drop a rain of flower-like projectiles all over. Some slimes will spawn on the floor as well. Focus on dodging the projectiles. If you can focus on dodging and shooting at the same time, aim to the top right to continue shooting the head while it's offscreen.
				d. Neck blast: The neck will grow more flowers that will explode out, and then the angel will shoot a few more slime balls at you. Focus on dodging them while you charge up. Try to stay to the right of the screen during this attack.
				e. Spit shot: This move only happens when the body is vulnerable. The head charges up before spitting multiple blasts from where its mouth would be. At the start of this one, stay close-ish to the angel's body and dodge each one, moving farther away if needed. Shoot the body like crazy during this phase, as this is the only chance you have to deal damage to the angel.
				f. Bone explosion: Once the body goes from being vulnerable to invincible, a blast of bone shards are shot out from the body. Just dodge the slowly moving projectiles while also continuing to shoot.

		C. Phase 2: In this phase, Vestia will be carrying Vuu while also running and fending off the angel.

			i. Dealing damage: In this phase, the angel can be hit in the head with a charged shot to deal direct damage. When hit with a charge shot, the head becomes vulnerable to regular shots too, so follow up your charge shot with a few regular shots before charging up another shot for when the head stops being vulnerable again.

ii. Attacks: The angel has numerous attacks. I'll be making up names for them to better identify them here. The slimes it spawns in this phase are much more aggressive, shooting flowers directly at your heart and jumping a lot. If left alone, these slimes will explode into a ton of flowers, so take them out before they get a chance to do so.

				a. Spreading flesh: Starting from the top left corner the angel spreads out bony tendrils that become covered in flesh, covering the whole screen except for a few small spaces. Quickly go to one of the spaces and stay there until the flesh dissipates. The angel will then spawn a few slimes on the ground that will shoot at you. If possible, go to an empty space that is close to the floor that you can shoot the slimes. Otherwise try to dodge their bullets with your limited space. Once the blobs are dead, aim for the angel's head if you have an angle on it.
				b. Spinning flesh: The angel's head moves to the center and bony tendrils branch out from it which become covered in flesh, taking up more space. Find a larger segment and stay within its bounds. The angel will then begin spinning the tendrils and shoot out bone shards from its head. This is a good move to deal a lot of damage to the head. Just be sure to follow your segment around and to dodge the bone shards as it rotates. Three slimes will spawn during this phase though, so they should be taken out first.
				c. Undershot: The most difficult attack to survive. The angel's head moves all the way to the bottom right of the screen and begins shooting up blobs at you that break into four other blobs. Flowers will come out of the long neck too, making the battlefield dense with projectiles. Continuously move in this phase while trying to get in a few charge shots. The angel's shots will always track your heart, so keep moving! Blobs may also spawn, so try to take them out by holding spacebar and the mouse click.
				d. Bouncy shot: The head will shoot out a rain of meatballs while also shooting projectiles that bounce off the top and bottom of the screen. These bouncy projectiles will target your heart, so keep moving. For this phase, stay at the very top right of the screen so that the bouncy shots and meatballs have less of a window to hit you. The bouncy shots will explode into meatballs when they reach the right of the screen though, so don't stay too close to the right. Don't try to deal damage during this attack, just focus on dodging the bouncy shots.

	2. Tower Tug-of-War: The goal of this segment is to slingshot the small green ball at the black spike balls quickly enough to bring the progress bar over to Rose's side. The golem will slowly tick the progress bar closer to her side over time, so as long as you consistently hit spike balls, you'll at least stay matched with her. If you continually miss and take a long time to hit a spike ball, the golem will eventually pull the bar to her side and win. The ideal scenario is to hit spike ball after spike ball in quick succession so that the golem doesn't have time to pull Vuu over to her side. In general, try to time your release of the slingshot with the jingle and sound so that the slingshot gives off an explosion.

		A. Phase 1: There is only one slingshot and four spike balls appear per round, and the next round begins when all four spike balls are hit.
			i. Round 1: The 4 spike balls slowly rotate around the slingshot. Don't be hasty. Pull the slingshot and wait for the spike balls to line up with your shot, then let go with good timing.
ii. Round 2: Two spike balls above and two below the slingshot moving horizontally back and forth. Target the spike balls at the far left and far right when they are moving the slowest.
iii. Round 3: The balls move erratically around the slingshot, pausing for a few seconds before moving again. Try to predict the balls' final destinations and aim there. When they stop, shoot them.
iv. Round 4: The balls jump from the bottom and top of the screen in small arcs. Try to time your shots to create the explosion according to the glimmer and jingle the slingshot makes while you're holding it.
			v. If you get through round 4 without losing, the rounds repeat. Take advantage of round 1 and 2 as they are definitely the easiest rounds in this phase.

		B. Phase 2: There are 2 slingshots to the right and left of the golem, who is now in the center. Additionally, red triangles start falling from the sky. If you hit these red triangles with your slingshot, they'll turn into shapes and push the bar closer to the golem's side, so be sure to avoid them.
			i. Round 1: The balls will rotate around the center in large concentric circles. Wait for them to stop exactly horizontally left and right of each slingshot and shoot. Don't try to hit the balls while they're moving.
ii. Round 2: The balls fall diagonally from the sky. Track their path by eye and pull your slingshot in advance. Once they line up with your slingshot path, let go. If you get lucky, a ball will pass right by a slingshot, giving you a better chance at hitting them.
iii. Round 3: The balls wiggle from left to right and right to left on the top and bottom of the screen. The balls will pause every so often, but not for long. Pull your slingshot in advance and try to time the explosion when you let go in the general vicinity of the balls. Trying to hit the balls when they're pausing is quite difficult as the timing window is short, but you can try.
iv. Round 4: The balls fly from the top or bottom, bounce off the opposite side of the screen and then fall off the screen again. This is the hardest phase. Try to track the general path of the balls, but even that is difficult, as their paths are pretty erratic.
			v. If you get past round 4, the rounds will start over to round 1. Take advantage of round 1 and 2 as they are the easiest to hit.

19. [Girl] Revival Guide: Girls are separated into different categories according to their skeleton types. For example, Skeleton A girls look most human, Skeleton B girls lack legs. As a result, girls are categorized into certain pools. See below for what girls are in each skeleton type pool.

On the map, if you are in an area that can spawn enemies, Liv can spawn if you wander around long enough. If the mimic (friendly storage NPC) appears, don't use her services, since Liv and the mimic share the same spawn pool. If the mimic remains on the map, only Liv will spawn for the remaining time you are on the map.

If you have beaten the game, the best place to grind for Liv to appear is Sablee Ocean, B1 floor. That is because no shape fights appear there, and all enemies that spawn are weak jellies, which you can use Smash on (click with the fist) to get rid of them and not have to fight them.

Reviving cost maxes out at 750 magi and 350 shards.

The level of the revived girl is determined by Vuu's level: the girl's level will be Vuu's level * 0.85 when revived. If Vuu is at level 35, every girl afterward will revive at level 25 (the level needed for rank 5).

24. Copying [Save]s

	A. To copy saves, either to another slot, or to another demo version, do the following (this applies directly to Windows computers, but may be helpful to non-windows users as well):
		i. Open BE Witches, let the mouse calibrate, then go to the title screen. Close the game. You do not need to save.

ii. Go to your computer's main drive, usually the C: drive.

iii. Click the view tab at the top of the File Explorer window. Make sure the "Hidden items" box is checked. If it's not checked, click it to check it.

		iv. Click the Users file.

		v. Click the username profile of the one that you use to play BE Witches.

		vi. Click the AppData folder.

		vii. Click the Local Folder.

viii. Click the folder with the same name of the version of BE Witches that you want to copy the save from.

ix. In that folder should be folders with the name "Save file #" Where # is the number in order of the save file of that version.

		x. If you want to create a duplicate save file in the same game version, copy it and rename it "Save file #+1". For example, if you copied Save file 0, rename the file Save file 1. You can only go up to Save file 4. Save file 5 and up will do nothing.

xi. If you want to copy the file to another version of the game, copy the Save file # folder and paste it in the BE Witches folder that shares the name of the version of BE Witches that you want the new save to be in.

xii. Load up the game and it should work! If it doesn't work... ask the friendly people on the BE Witches discord.
